How did you two meet?
Kathryn: "We were introduced by a mutual friend at a Friendsgiving. I remember thinking it was fun meeting someone new, but was not expecting it to turn into anything."
What are some things y'all like to do together?
Kathryn: "We love spending time with family and friends and traveling together."
How and when did Chad propose?
Kathryn: "Chad proposed on October 28, 2017 at a little overlook area at Vestavia Hills Baptist Church in Birmingham. I appreciated his thoughtfulness in the simplicity of the night. He obviously said some really sweet things which ended in him on one knee asking me to marry him, but it was special for it to just be the two of us. We enjoyed dinner at John's City Diner (where we had been on our first date) and spent some time celebrating with family later that evening."
Kathryn-- what's one of the things you admire most about Chad?
Kathryn: "Just one?! I would say that I admire his faith. If I could add a few, I would say he makes me laugh often, and he is a loyal friend."
Chad-- what's one of the things you admire most about Kathryn?
Chad: "Mark 12:30-31 comes to mind when I think of Kathryn. She loves the Lord and genuinely loves others. She loves to give gifts, looks for ways to meet physical needs, takes meals to people and the list goes on."
