How did you two meet?
Katie: "Ethan and I went to high school together. We connected after we both moved to Huntsville post college. We joined a Bible study with some mutual friends and were both interested from the start. Ethan said I was the only person he saw in the room when he walked through the door. I thought Ethan was so cute, and I was hoping he would ask me on a date."
How and when did Ethan propose?
Katie: "Ethan proposed at the house my grandfather grew up in. It is a very special place to me and my family. We were surrounded by friends and family who love us. It was the best night!"
What was each yall's favorite part of the wedding day?
Katie: "My favorite part of the day was being able to see Ethan moments before walking down the aisle. It helped calm my nerves and made me even more excited to get to marry him."
Ethan: "My favorite part of the day was being able to see Katie during the first look."
Ethan--what's one of the things you admire most about Katie?
Ethan: "One of the things I admire most about Katie is her love and grace for others."
Katie--what's one of the things you admire most about Ethan?
Katie: "I admire how steadfast Ethan is. To his family, job, faith and me. He gives all of himself to his people and commitments."
What are some things you two enjoy doing together?
Katie: "We enjoy playing pickle ball, shopping at target, church on sundays, Mexican and margs and game nights with friends."
What's next for you two?
Katie: "We are enjoying the simple day-to-day life with one another and not moving on to the next chapter too fast. We are seeing what all God has in store for our life together!"
